the island life continues.
We had high expectations for our second Greek island, and they were definitely met. Our time spent in Mykonos was filled with relaxation, beautiful sunsets (of course) and plenty of the island’s iconic sights.
So where did we choose to stay for our Mykonian adventures?
Madoupa Boutique Hotel
Like we always say, picking a hotel is a vital aspect of having a luxurious vacation. We were so lucky to get to spend our time in Mykonos at Madoupa Boutique Hotel. Madoupa is a five star hotel located in heart of Mykonos. Not only is the hotel incredible, but the location is prime. We took one step into the lobby and our jaws dropped. Luxury exudes from every aspect of this boutique hotel. The walls, rugs, robes, and bed were all bright white, making this an interior design dream. No words can do this hotel justice. Don’t believe us? See for yourself.
The Pinterest worthy interior at Madoupa is matched when guests walk outside. We spent hours lounging by the pool for very obvious reasons.
The Most Important Meal of the Day
It would be out of character if we didn’t brag on our amazing breakfast – and at Madoupa, they sure do know how to start the morning. We enjoyed everything from Greek yogurt to made-to-order omelets.
Activities in Mykonos
There is a reason this island is a hotspot for vacationers from all over the world. Whether you fancy history, the sea, or late nights – this Greek island has something for everyone. If and when you plan your next trip to Mykonos, here are a few things you can’t miss out on!
See the iconic Mykonos windmills and learn about the interesting history behind them.
Get lost in the beautiful (and confusing) streets of Mykonos Town, the island’s capital.
Enjoy some local Greek cuisine! We sure did.
Visit Little Venice.
In this small quarter in Mykonos, the houses and restaurants are situated right on the edge of the sea.
Like we always say, don’t miss a sunset!
