I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream.
The adventures in New York City began where all adventures should, an ice cream shop.
There isn’t really a way to go wrong with ice cream, but there is a way to do it right, and Blue Marble has mastered it.
Blue Marble is a local ice cream shop in Brooklyn. If you’ve never been, add it to your bucket list. It was founded by two friends, Alexis and Jennie. The ice cream is certified organic and leaves you feeling both happy and healthy.
Oh, and did I mention almost everything is gluten free? The staff was knowledgeable and answered any and all questions I had. All gluten free eaters need to avoid are flavors that have cookies in them. With g-free toppings like hot fudge and brownie, that’s an easy task.
You heard that right: brownie. Gluten Free Brownies! I repeat! Gluten Free Brownies!
Not sure if you knew this, but before I got diagnosed with celiac, I was the brownie sundae queen. Nothing tasted better than a warm fudgy brownie with creamy ice cream. I have spent years watching others indulge in my favorite dessert knowing that if I took one bite I’d quickly regret it. Maybe that’s why I’m completely obsessed with Blue Marble. Rather than envying what others ordered, I get to savor every melting bite I take.
Thanks, Blue Marble, for bringing me back to my childhood with a brownie sundae and a special thank you to Ann and Sithara for taking good care of me!
